Awhile back my good friend Dan Williams wrote a blog post that I thought was right on the money. It was called the Network Marketing Rabbit-Trail.
In life we often find many things that pull us off the path, whether that path is success or other facets of our life. Do you often use the term, I’ll try this or do you commit yourself to getting what ever task you set out to do finished?
Often we are not completely honest with ourselves, it is far to easy to quit then to move forward with difficult insurmountable task. This is where the path to success comes in, we can follow many course, but we will seldom be successful if we try to go down to many paths at the same time.
It really got me to thinking about what is the meaning of multiple streams of income and how that relates. I see many people talking about it, having multiple affiliate programs, multiple network marketing programs etc… They call this diversification.
Yet that really is not the true meaning of diversification when it comes to income streams. If your wondering what I’m referring to maybe it’s time to pickup a good book on the subject from respected authors in the field.
What ever course you choose stay the course until your successful then proceed to the next. Businesses I like When it comes to choosing a business, it is just like anything you do in life. In that it should be something you enjoy doing! Isn’t that the reason you want your own business?
What choices do we really have when it comes to choosing a business? There are any number of directions in which we can go.
So it comes down to making a choice
- Do I want to open my own store, restaurant, or manufacturing plant.
- Do I want to work only from home as a Consultant.
- Do I want to work on the Internet Solely.
There are many things we can do it’s just a matter of finding a direction to go. Often we’ve not made the right choices so it leads to a life full of dissatisfaction.
I’m sure that your keenly aware of that. After reading a couple of Robert Kiyosaki’s books I decided on network marketing.
Nothing else really appealed to me, yet it was quickly evident that it was going to require a lot more work then I was lead to believe. Along the way I made some good friends and lost some as well.
The ones I lost where due to greed, money at all cost including their reputation. To give a few examples, I was doing some searching online, and found quite a few of my blog posts from my other sites all over the internet at least some of these gave a reference to me.
Yet many others make it out as their original written material. Now think about it would you really want to do business with someone like that? Someone who will steal ideas and concepts and call it their own, I don’t think so!
Yet still I do like the concept and challenge of network marketing. Working with people and finally seeing them achieve success, gives you a tremendous feeling of accomplishment.
The wonderful thing about the direct selling industry is that it covers so many different products or services that you can get passionate about. So if your serious about changing your life, find something your passionate about and Just Do It!
